PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Hopkins (ranked 601 p4p, 359 weight class) and James Hunt (ranked 88 p4p, 58 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Hunt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hopkins sprawling to the canvas! Hopkins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hunt finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hunt crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hopkins - the referee stops the clock and Hunt gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hopkins. Hunt manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
