Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Raty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakev Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law has chosen Sierra Leone as his entrance music. Seppo Raty has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raty fails with a takedown attempt.
Raty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Law circles away.
Law lands a body shot.
Law scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Law lands with a cross.

Law moves into the clinch successfully.
Raty tries to pull guard but Law holds him up against the cage and eventually Raty drops back down to his feet.

Law with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Law has had enough of the clinch but Raty keeps him there for the moment.
Raty jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Law walks away with a smile on his face. Raty gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Law lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Raty shoots in for a takedown but Law shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Law looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A head kick misses from Raty.
Raty wants to clinch but Law slips to the side
and Raty takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Law lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A nice combination there by Law.
Raty closes the distance but Law moves to the side
and Law counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Buakev Law is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Raty is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Law lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Raty will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Law lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Raty throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Law's waist but Law gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raty off to one side.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Law landing knees to the head.

It looks like Seppo Raty has been cut.
Law landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Law manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Raty.
Raty misses with the head strike.
The is referee keeping an eye on Law - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raty changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Law fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Law forces Raty back against the cage and clinches.
Raty has had enough of the clinch but Law keeps him there for the moment.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Raty. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Law fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Raty, pushing him back against the cage.
Raty goes for a takedown attempt but Law pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Law has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Law is pressed up against the cage. Raty has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Law down to the mat. Law avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Law has closed the distance and engaged Raty in a clinch.

Law has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Raty goes down! Law pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

Raty is rocked!

Law decides to stand back up. Law steps back and let's Raty get back to his feet.
Law moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Law fakes the leg kick and cracks Raty in the body.

Law tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Raty counters with a single leg into guard. Law didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Raty looking to sit in guard and control but Law gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Seppo Raty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Law slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Raty is working an open guard so Law takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
