Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zee Land (ranked 303 p4p, 233 weight class) and Jakov Pavlek (ranked 51 p4p, 40 weight class). Land comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Pavlek has chosen Cool Kids of Death - Czloweik Mucha as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zee Land!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jakov Pavlek!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlek misses with a low kick as Land jumps back.
We've been hearing reports that Land has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Land lands a nice shot that snaps Pavlek's head back.
Pavlek throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pavlek fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Land.

Pavlek takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Land takes a swing at Pavlek's ribcage but misses.

Land really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pavlek shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Land eats them both and turns towards Pavlek to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Land has hold of Pavlek's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pavlek seems comfortable defending it but Land has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pavlek is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pavlek is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Land couldn't care less - he's delighted!

After winning the bout, Zee Land thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
