Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frasier Voltaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and demian maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). demian maia struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. demian maia is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voltaire moves in looking to clinch but maia pushes him off.
maia keeps the fight on the outside.

maia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Voltaire is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. maia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Voltaire's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frasier Voltaire will probably get the nod.

Frasier Voltaire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of demian maia.
