Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Pierre Barda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dr iLL!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barda shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barda throws a right and a left that iLL avoids nicely.
iLL pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barda.
Barda avoids the head kick by iLL.
iLL lands a high kick to the side of Barda's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! iLL dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Jean Pierre Barda has been cut.
iLL trying to control the position from guard on top but Barda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
iLL wanted to stand there but Barda had control of the position.
iLL pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barda is keeping the position for now.
iLL trying to control but Barda is working from the bottom.
Barda has iLL pulled in close to control his posture.
iLL wants to stand and escape but instead Barda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

iLL wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
iLL is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Barda looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
iLL controls Barda momentarily but Barda frees himself.
iLL looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barda is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
iLL controls Barda momentarily but Barda frees himself.
Barda controls from within his opponent's guard.
iLL has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Barda off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Dr iLL is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barda shoots for a takedown but iLL saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Pierre Barda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
iLL misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
iLL throws a nice inside leg kick.
Barda is breathing heavily.
Barda avoids the head kick by iLL.
iLL thows a body kick. Barda tries to catch it but that hurt him.
iLL connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Barda to the floor! iLL dives in looking for the finish!
Barda is rocked!

iLL gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Oh Barda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
iLL tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
iLL drops Barda with a straight right hand, right on the button! iLL follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dr iLL!
