Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ajin Heceda (ranked 1140 p4p, 825 weight class) and Ben Crispian (ranked 160 p4p, 98 weight class). Heceda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Believer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heceda dives in and scores a takedown into Crispian's guard.

Heceda is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Heceda is stalling here. Crispian is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Heceda seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Crispian has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Crispian remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Crispian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Heceda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crispian uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Heceda closes the distance and clinches up with Crispian, looking for a takedown. Heceda pushes Crispian against the cage but Crispian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Heceda shoots in looking for a takedown. Crispian tries to sprawl out of it but Heceda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crispian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
