And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksandar Ivkov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivkov throws a jab but it's blocked by Hall.
Ivkov scores with a hook to the body. Hall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ivkov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ivkov takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
Ivkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ivkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ivkov blocks a head kick by Hall.
Aleksandar Ivkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall wants to slow Ivkov down by chopping away at his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivkov misses with a hook.
Hall throws a leg kick but Ivkov sees it coming and checks it nicely.

We've been hearing reports that Hall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ivkov thuds a left hand into Hall's body.
Ivkov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Aleksandar Ivkov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ivkov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hall.

Hall is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ivkov's half guard.

Ivkov pushes Hall off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ivkov misses the jab.
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ivkov pinned against the cage. Ivkov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Ivkov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ivkov wants to stand back up but Hall manages to pass into side control.
Ivkov tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hall easily slips into full mount!
Hall pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Ivkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hall looking to control but Ivkov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Hall with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ivkov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ivkov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Hall swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ivkov is now in Hall's guard. A big mistake from Hall there, giving up the dominant position!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Aleksandar Ivkov dominated that round.
That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ivkov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ivkov misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivkov keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall instigates a clinch.

Hall jumps into guard, dragging Ivkov to the mat.

Hall pushes a forearm under Ivkov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ivkov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Richard Hall!
Richard Hall tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
