Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 24688 p4p, 24440 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapad Amiga could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rico Salvacion's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salvacion sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amiga somewhat.
Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
Amiga throws a sloppy head kick and Salvacion moves out of range easily.
Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Salvacion is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Amiga's shoulder. That is not cool.

Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad.

Rico Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Amiga holds on and takes a little breather.
