Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Count Orlok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja scores with a kick to the midsection.

Count Orlok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ninja shoots in but no luck this time.

Orlok drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Orlok wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ninja, who protects the arm well.
Ninja avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Orlok.
Ninja can't do much from the bottom here.
Ninja is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Orlok has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ninja doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Orlok thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Orlok is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ninja is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ninja has escaped and now he's on top!

Orlok has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ninja can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orlok tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Orlok has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ninja is looking to reverse the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Orlok lands an elbow.

Orlok swings around for an armbar but Ninja sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Orlok's guard.

Orlok isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ninja stacks Orlok on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ninja!
Ninja tries to score with some ground and pound. Orlok controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Ninja thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Orlok manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Count Orlok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Orlok scores with a few weak punches.
Orlok slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Orlok is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ninja misses with a takedown

and Orlok counters with a shoot takedown. Ninja fights it but they end up in guard.

Orlok had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ninja is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Orlok Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ninja's back instead.

Orlok is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ninja is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
