Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Antony (ranked 2176 p4p, 1618 weight class) and Brock Hardman (ranked 323 p4p, 249 weight class). Mark Antony has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Antony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antony throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hardman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hardman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Antony is trying to break free.
Antony working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Antony manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Antony lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Antony is pressed up against the cage. Hardman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Antony down to the mat. Antony avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hardman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Antony counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Antony throws a jab but it's blocked by Hardman.
Good exchange - Hardman coming out on top.

It looks like Mark Antony has been cut.

Antony misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hardman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hardman throws a poor cross that misses
and Hardman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Antony on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hardman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Antony counters with a nice uppercut.
Antony looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hardman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Antony counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hardman's knee momentarily.

Hardman forces Antony back against the cage and clinches.
Hardman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hardman blocking some punches.
Hardman letting Antony take a breather here.
Antony blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Antony gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hardman.
Mark Antony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Hardman.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hardman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Antony regains guard immediately.

Hardman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Antony wants to stand but Hardman is controlling the position.
Antony wants to sweep but no luck.

Hardman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Antony pulls Hardman in close to his closed guard and prevents Hardman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Antony trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hardman is looking for a triangle but Antony pushes his legs off easily.
Antony stays in close to Hardman's body and controls the position.

Antony decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Antony bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hardman shoots in looking for a takedown but Antony manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hardman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Antony is looking to counter with a body kick.
Hardman misses with a straight left.
Antony throws a quick counter head kick but Hardman was just out of range.
Hardman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Antony paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hardman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Antony tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hardman is in Antony's guard.
Antony is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hardman tries to free his leg and advance position but Antony is retaining full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Antony will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
