Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 21194 p4p, 21758 weight class) and Detritus Rubble (ranked 261 p4p, 277 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by The Only Thing The Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Detritus Rubble!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubble staying out of range there.
Gomi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rubble.
Rubble looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Gomi throws a shot from downtown. Rubble moves away and avoids it.
Rubble fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rubble stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gomi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rubble throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gomi on the side of the head.
Gomi throws a body shot but no joy.
Gomi throws a series of punches but Rubble avoids them all with ease.
Gomi takes one to the chin there.
Rubble clobbers Gomi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gomi tries to move into range but Rubble moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Rubble steps into range and cracks Gomi with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Gomi flops backwards and Rubble dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Gomi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rubble is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Rubble has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rubble cracks Gomi with an uppercut from hell and Gomi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rubble's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rubble can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rubble cracks Gomi with a hook to the temple - Gomi is on wobbly legs here! Rubble swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Gomi falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rubble wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Detritus Rubble!
Detritus Rubble decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
