And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kong Wu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Thibodeaux counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Kong Wu has been cut.
Wu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thibodeaux looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Thibodeaux scoring well with a low kick there.
Wu misses with a hook to the body
and Thibodeaux counters with a body kick.
Wu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wu looks winded!
Thibodeaux bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Wu drops his guard momentarily, allowing Thibodeaux to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Wu! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Thibodeaux takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Imagine Thibodeaux!
