Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nero Hardy (ranked 887 p4p, 709 weight class) and Thomas Quessy (ranked 125 p4p, 104 weight class). Quessy has chosen NTM - Ma Benz as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Quessy!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quessy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hardy finds it's way round the side to connect with Quessy's head.

Quessy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hardy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Quessy's elbow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

My spies in Glory 4 Boxing inform me that Quessy has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Hardy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Quessy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hardy seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Hardy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Quessy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Quessy has his foot on Hardy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hardy works his way back into a safe position though.

Hardy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Quessy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hardy has managed to get both his arms back between Quessy's legs - danger averted.

Hardy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quessy keeps working.

Thomas Quessy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
