Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Johnz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshiro Nagata!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagata ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnz moves away.
Johnz is looking to clinch.
Nagata closes the distance and pushes Johnz back into the cage.
Nagata tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnz smiles and moves away.

and Nagata connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nagata connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnz's hands.
Nagata lands a two punch combo.
Nagata shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nagata thows a big elbow that misses.
Nagata won't allow Johnz to get back to his feet.
Nagata throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Nagata postures up and lands a big shot to Johnz's brow.
Nagata working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nagata is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnz has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnz wants to pass the guard but Nagata is keeping the position.

Johnz pushing down on Nagata's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Nagata looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Johnz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nagata's head.
Nagata with the active half guard here but Johnz passes nicely into side control.
Nagata looks gassed!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nagata looking for a sweep but Johnz has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Nagata gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
The referee is taking a good look at Nagata as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Johnz!
Nagata is trying to get to his feet but he's left his neck exposed and Johnz manages to sink in a rear naked choke! Great counter grappling by Johnz!
