Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jun Liu (ranked 849 p4p, 1025 weight class) and African King (ranked 125 p4p, 151 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Liu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, African King!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King clinches up against the cage.

King jumps guard but Liu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

King lands a right hand that snaps the head of Liu backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Liu throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kings head.

Liu seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but King is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

King jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liu walks away with a smile on his face. King gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Liu moves out of range easily.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liu tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liu to the ground. Liu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Liu keeps working.
King tries to move into full mount but can't pass Liu's legs.
Liu tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Liu has one of King's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Liu, who protects the arm well.
King laying and praying for a moment but Liu takes advantage and regains half guard.
King seems to be looking for submissions.
Liu trying to hold on to King's head to control him but King postures up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liu keeps control of the position for the meantime.

That was a close round but I would say that Jun Liu will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
