Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Kersikov (ranked 218 p4p, 557 weight class) and Parta Matti (ranked 31 p4p, 83 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with Head of the Table blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Parta Matti!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Matti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kersikov scrambles back to his feet.
Kersikov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KFA in the buildup to the fight.
Matti throws a push kick but Kersikov slaps the foot to one side.
Kersikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matti moves away.
Matti throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Kersikov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Matti steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kersikov. That one must have hurt.
Kersikov lunges at Matti with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Matti's hand.

It looks like Parta Matti has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matti throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Kersikov to counter with a crisp jab.
Matti tries to move into range but Kersikov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That has opened up Parta Matti's cut even more.
Matti takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Matti is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kersikov scores with a shot to the body.
Kersikov throws a big shot that misses.
Kersikov thuds his shin into the meat of Matti's side.
Matti looks winded!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Kersikov engages and cracks Matti with a massive lead left hook - Matti tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Kersikov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
