Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CJ Fredrich (ranked 5367 p4p, 5934 weight class) and Atticus Riley (ranked 577 p4p, 605 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredrich clinches up with Riley and pushes him back against the cage.
Riley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fredrich walks away with a smile on his face. Riley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Riley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fredrich fights it off and pushes away nicely.

CJ Fredrich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Atticus Riley.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fredrich is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Riley to the mat. Riley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Fredrich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Fredrich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fredrich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Fredrich looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Fredrich has hold of Riley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Riley seems comfortable defending it but Fredrich has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Riley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Riley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fredrich couldn't care less - he's delighted!
