Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Boy - It's Johnny Boy. Drunken Hare is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boy scores with a takedown into Hare's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hare seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Boy is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hare has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jonny Boy just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Boy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Boy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hare should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hare really wants to buck Boy off and get back to his feet.

Hare has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hare has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Boy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hare defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
