Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacques Pierre !
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looks to land a right hand but Pierre moved out of range.
Billy Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams throws a lazy uppercut
and Pierre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Billy Williams has been cut.
Williams feints and then cracks Pierre 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pierre down.
Williams looks to land a right hand but Pierre moved out of range.
Williams misses with a double jab.
A little jabbing left from Pierre on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Pierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Pierre does a little dance to reset his feet.
Williams throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams misses with a body punch
and Pierre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pierre knocks out Williams with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Pierre before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Pierre picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jacques Pierre !
After winning the bout, Jacques Pierre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
