The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeljkovic tests Rivera's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rivera goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Josip Zeljkovic has been cut.

and Rivera counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rivera finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Zeljkovic fails with a takedown attempt.
Zeljkovic looks to land a body kick but Rivera moved away.
Rivera lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Zeljkovic is breathing heavily.

Zeljkovic throws out a loose jab but Rivera uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zeljkovic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Zeljkovic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rivera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Josip Zeljkovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeljkovic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rivera.
Rivera throws an overhand right that drops Zeljkovic like a sack of potatoes! Rivera dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
