The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Richards does no damage.
Richards throws a series of punches but Jenkins avoids them all with ease.

Jenkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richards's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Richards tries to hold on but Jenkins postures up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jenkins is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Richards has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Richards!
