The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez wants to clinch
letting Tate counter with a right hand.

Dominguez darts in and clinches Tate up against the ropes.

Tate is trying to push Dominguez away but Dominguez has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Dominguez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tate throws a switch kick that catches Dominguez on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Dominguez looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Dominguez flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Drew Tate spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Dominick Dominguez was interviewed post fight and said 'today it didnt go as expected, but im going to keep training results will come ...soon'.
