Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Corll (ranked 13447 p4p, 2914 weight class) and Thufir Hawat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corll kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Candyman. Thufir Hawat acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll misses with a low kick.
Hawat has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hawat connects with the punch.
Hawat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hawat tests Corll's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hawat lands a front kick.
Corll throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hawat looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Corll misses the shot to the body.
Hawat works the jab nicely.
Corll takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hawat throws a body shot but no joy.
Hawat looks to throw the jab but Corll is out of range.
Corll misses with a left hand
and Hawat counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hawat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Corll is rocked!
Hawat lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Corll is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corll is breathing heavily.
Corll lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Corll seems to have got his legs back now.
Hawat throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Corll on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corll throws out a loose jab but Hawat uses good head movement to avoid it.
Corll throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hawat throws an overhand right that drops Corll like a sack of potatoes! Hawat dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
