Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 970 p4p, 589 weight class) and Armand Christophe (ranked 139 p4p, 87 weight class). Christophe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shadows kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tony Stark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Armand Christophe!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Christophe pinned against the cage. Christophe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Christophe throws a fast counter high kick but Stark manages to duck under it in time.
Christophe looks to land a left hand but Stark moved out of range nicely.
As Christophe tries to get set, Stark tries to push him back and clinch up but Christophe manages to avoid the attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Stark has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

so Stark counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Stark thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Stark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stark postures up in Christophe's guard and throws a big left but Christophe blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Christophe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Christophe holds on and takes a little breather.
Christophe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Christophe tries to roll over but Stark keeps him under control.

Stark is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Christophe has his feet on Stark's thighs here. He's pushed Stark off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Stark screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
