Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Womack (ranked 5516 p4p, 3711 weight class) and Jay Porter (ranked 584 p4p, 484 weight class). Mac Womack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mac Womack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Porter!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Womack throws a sloppy head kick and Porter moves out of range easily.
Mac Womack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Womack swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Porter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Womack tries to clinch but Porter is having none of it.

Porter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Womack has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Porter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Porter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Porter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Womack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Porter just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Well Porter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
