PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 97 p4p, 353 weight class) and Bradley Lemons (ranked 18 p4p, 55 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Einstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bradley Lemons!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einstein throws a body punch but Lemons moves out of range.
Lemons is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Einstein with a body shot.
Lemons looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Einstein looks to score with a jab to the body but Lemons is just out of range.
Lemons shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Einstein swings for the body but Lemons moves out of range.
Lemons swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Albert Einstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Einstein throws a hook but Lemons avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Einstein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lemons wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lemons can do anything to dispel that myth.
