Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ziegler (ranked 517 p4p, 1882 weight class) and Seamus Murphy (ranked 29 p4p, 111 weight class). Murphy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Molly Malone- The Dubliners kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Seamus Murphy has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seamus Murphy!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ziegler lands with a straight right. Murphy didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Seamus Murphy has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Ziegler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Murphy doesn't seem phased though.

Murphy is rocked!
Ziegler scores with a nice right hand.
Murphy is still on wobbly legs! Can Ziegler finish him?
Ziegler bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Murphy seems to have recovered his senses.
A head kick misses from Ziegler.
Murphy tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ziegler ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ziegler cracks a nice hook into Murphy's ribs.
Ziegler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ziegler sends Murphy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ziegler is motioning to the referee to let Murphy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Ziegler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mike Ziegler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ziegler cracks Murphy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ziegler has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Murphy to stand back up!
Ziegler lands a jab to Murphy's midsection.
Ziegler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murphy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ziegler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Ziegler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Murphy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ziegler.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ziegler connects with a body shot that sends Murphy's belly button to the back.
Ziegler throws a body shot but no joy.
Murphy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ziegler defends it well.
Ziegler lands a nice shot that snaps Murphy's head back.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ziegler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Seamus Murphy's cut even more.

Ziegler throws a leg kick which misses Murphy's front leg but catches the back leg as Murphy tries to avoid it.
Ziegler takes a swing at Murphy's ribcage but misses.
Ziegler scores with a jab. Murphy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ziegler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murphy manages to avoid it.
Ziegler is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Ziegler loads up on a big right hand but Murphy slips the punch.
Murphy feints the counter takedown.
Ziegler lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Murphy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Ziegler misses

so Murphy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ziegler looking for a sweep. Not yet Ziegler, not yet.

Murphy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ziegler lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A cross from Ziegler lands.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Ziegler dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Seamus Murphy's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Ziegler connects with a good right hand that stumbles Murphy. Murphy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ziegler scores with a push kick.
Murphy bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Ziegler comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Murphy falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Murphy was out before he hit the floor!
