Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sal Gorchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raji Viutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sal Gorchev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raji Viutz!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viutz doesn't manage to clinch there - Gorchev circles away.
Viutz just misses with a punch to the body.

and Viutz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gorchev's guard.
Viutz throws a strike but Gorchev rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Gorchev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Viutz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gorchev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gorchev pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Gorchev is pressing down on Viutz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Viutz is holding on for now.

Gorchev escapes and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Viutz wants to stand but Gorchev has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gorchev is on top in guard.
Viutz wants to sweep here but Gorchev controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sal Gorchev will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I really don't envy Viutz right now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gorchev slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Viutz is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Viutz throws a right hand that Gorchev ducks under and follows up with a left that Gorchev also avoids with ease.

Sal Gorchev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Viutz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gorchev is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Viutz, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Viutz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gorchev has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Viutz but great work by Gorchev.

Raji Viutz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gorchev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
