Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Radar (ranked 690 p4p, 1076 weight class) and Billy Cubbedge (ranked 100 p4p, 151 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Radar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Cubbedge!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cubbedge fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Radar manages to avoid it.
Radar drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cubbedge sprawls and moves away.
Radar has his takedown stuffed
and Cubbedge counters with a left to the body.

Radar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cubbedge!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Radar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cubbedge sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Cubbedge parries the strikes from Radar easily there. Radar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cubbedge to escape.

Cubbedge felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Radar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cubbedge is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Cubbedge is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Radar off and has taken his back!
Cubbedge controlling well, preventing Radar from escaping the position.
Cubbedge is trying to stick to Radar's back but Radar is turning into Cubbedge. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cubbedge's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Radar.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Radar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cubbedge preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Radar is looking to work some ground and pound but Cubbedge has wrist control.
Radar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Radar throwing strikes but missing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Max Radar dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Radar throws a right and a left that Cubbedge avoids nicely.
Radar shoots in and drives through. Cubbedge sprawls well.

Cubbedge sends Radar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cubbedge is motioning to the referee to let Radar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Max Radar has been cut.
Radar gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cubbedge gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Radar is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Cubbedge!
A relieved looking Billy Cubbedge thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
