Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Herb (ranked 3453 p4p, 2572 weight class) and Krisp Enwah (ranked 466 p4p, 372 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Herb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krisp Enwah!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herb shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Enwah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Enwah is defending against the submission attempts here by Herb.
Enwah misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Enwah is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Herb is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Herb is looking to advance position but Enwah won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Herb is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Enwah is doing well to control the position and prevent Herb from advancing to side control.
Herb tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Enwah.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Enwah has his hands clasped together around Herb's back. He's all about the action.

Enwah is looking to control Herb's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Enwah avoid being mounted?
Enwah looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Enwah tries to get to full guard but Herb has control of the leg.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Enwah drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Enwah is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Herb will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Enwah tries for a kimura but Herb is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Dean Herb will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Enwah gets a double leg takedown into Herb's guard.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Herb drops down looking for an ankle pick but Enwah pulls his leg out and moves away.

Enwah closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Enwah gets control of Herb's arms and successfully pulls guard. Enwah will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Herb drops back, looking for a kneebar! Enwah looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Enwah looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Enwah!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Herb is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Enwah has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Enwah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Herb keeps working.
Enwah content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Enwah moves into full mount!
Herb is working to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You get the feeling that Herb really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Enwah lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Enwah can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Herb is looking to escape.
Herb tries to hold on but Enwah postures up.
Herb is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Herb is trying desperately to improve position.
Enwah controlling from the full mount.

Enwah throwing strikes here but Herb is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Herb's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Herb regains half guard.

Herb manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Enwah keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Herb is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Enwah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Enwah closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Enwah changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Herb looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Herb enables Enwah to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Herb manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Herb had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Enwah defends it easily.
Enwah with a flurry of punches that miss.
Herb is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Enwah must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Enwah sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Herb's guard.

Enwah wants to stand up but Herb has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Enwah looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Herb manages to get to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Enwah controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Herb.
A clash of legs there as Herb blocks the low kick.

Krisp Enwah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Enwah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
