Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Kant (ranked 4045 p4p, 1288 weight class) and Tempest Frank (ranked 426 p4p, 181 weight class). Kant comes to the cage accompanied by Sons of Plunder. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tempest Frank!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Kant counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kant sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frank's guard.
Kant throws a strike but Frank avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Kant has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Frank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Genghis Kant dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Frank cracks Kant with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Genghis Kant has been cut.
Kant looks up at the clock. Bad move! Frank lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kant. Frank pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tempest Frank!
