Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaga Duran (ranked 5266 p4p, 4643 weight class) and Gianluca De Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rossi tries to clinch but Duran moves away
and Duran counters with a straight right hand.

Duran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Rossi, pushing him back against the cage.
De Rossi throws a punch but it's blocked by Duran.
Duran lands a body punch in the clinch.
Duran scores with a hook to the body.

Duran's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

De Rossi is rocked!
Duran has De Rossi pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. De Rossi is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Duran - that's hurt De Rossi badly! Oh, another knee lands and De Rossi is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but De Rossi doesn't seem to be complaining.
