The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farfan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Granite 's hands.

It looks like Jimmy Granite has been cut.
Granite throws a big shot that misses.
Granite fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Farfan.
Farfan looks to score with a jab to the body but Granite is just out of range.

and Granite counters with a one-two to the body.
Farfan lands a right hook to the body.
Farfan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Granite is looking to counter punch.
Farfan cracks Granite with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Farfan takes a swing at Granite 's ribcage but misses.
Farfan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Granite .

Granite takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Iago Farfan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Farfan lands a big uppercut and Granite crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Granite looks OK. Farfan waves Granite back to his feet!

Jimmy Granite 's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Farfan drops Granite with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Granite looks back up at him and smiles so Farfan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Granite connects with a body shot that sends Farfan's belly button to the back.
Oh Granite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Farfan drops Granite with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Granite ! Farfan dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
