Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hill Billy Hank (ranked 2003 p4p, 2871 weight class) and Corwin Anstey (ranked 296 p4p, 395 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hill Billy Hank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hank closes the distance and clinches up with Anstey, looking for a takedown. Hank pushes Anstey against the cage but Anstey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anstey is looking for the big counter here.
Anstey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hank forces Anstey back against the cage and clinches.
Anstey has had enough of the clinch but Hank keeps him there for the moment.
Hank has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Anstey after a bit of a struggle.
Hank is trying to drag Anstey to the mat but Anstey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hank has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Anstey is on him like a limpet, forcing Hank back against the cage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Anstey or perhaps it was just good defense by Hank, which made it look bad.

Hank moves into range and clinches up with Anstey.
I was talking to Hank's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Hank tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Anstey avoids it.

Hank has clasped his hands together around Anstey's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hank is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anstey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Anstey manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hank takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

You can see the frustration on Anstey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

We've been informed that Anstey has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Anstey wants to stand but Hank is controlling the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Hill Billy Hank will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Corwin Anstey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
