Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 23785 p4p, 6124 weight class) and Deontay DJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DJ has chosen Lil Scrappy - No Problem as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DJ jabs Pudzianowski to the body, keeping him at a distance.
DJ bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pudzianowski avoids the head kick by DJ.
Good work by DJ as he checks the leg kick.
DJ tries a head kick but it misses.
DJ is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pudzianowski.
Pudzianowski slips a straight right by DJ.
Some wild striking there from DJ.
DJ scores with a jab to the body.
DJ has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
DJ throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pudzianowski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and DJ is able to avoid easily.
Pudzianowski blocks a head kick by DJ.

and DJ counters with a big head kick but Pudzianowski shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
DJ stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and DJ wants it to stay on the feet.
DJ checks the leg kick.
A clash of legs there as DJ blocks the low kick.
Pudzianowski throws a low kick, looking for DJ's leg but DJ calmly moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on DJ's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
DJ connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Pudzianowski motions for DJ to come forward. Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
DJ moves out of range of the leg kick from Pudzianowski.
An inside leg kick from Pudzianowski misses.
Pudzianowski takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut.
DJ throws a sloppy head kick and Pudzianowski moves out of range easily.
Pudzianowski misses with a low kick.

DJ drops Pudzianowski with a beautiful combination! Pudzianowski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DJ is looking for the KO!

Pudzianowski is rocked!

DJ rushes Pudzianowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Pudzianowski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

DJ's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pudzianowski is looking to score with low kicks.
DJ checks the leg kick nicely there.
Some bone on bone action there as DJ checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mariusz Pudzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DJ scores with a kick to the body.
Pudzianowski is breathing heavily.
DJ fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pudzianowski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
DJ tries a head kick but it misses.
DJ scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Pudzianowski fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but DJ is out of range.

DJ lands a big right hand that sends Pudzianowski crashing to the mat! DJ stays standing though and waves Pudzianowski back to his feet!
Oh Pudzianowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pudzianowski throws a low kick but DJ moves out of range easily.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! DJ throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Pudzianowski is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
