The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyota walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Toyota looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Phuthong lands with a hook. Toyota tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Phuthong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Toyota on the side of the head.
Toyota throws a sloppy head kick and Phuthong moves out of range easily.
Phuthong cracks Toyota with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The fighters circle momentarily. Phuthong darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Phuthong ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Phuthong looks to land a combination. Toyota sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Eh Phuthong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phuthong bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Toyota's head backwards.

Toyota glances at the clock... BAM! Phuthong nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Toyota crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Toyota is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

A relieved looking Eh Phuthong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
