The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Climber throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Archangel defending well as Climber loads up on a big left hand.
Climber with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Climber throws a hook but Archangel blocks it.
Climber bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Climber on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Climber lands a right hook to the body.
Archangel throws an off balance right hand
and Climber connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fighters circling - Climber throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Climber uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Archangel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Climber lands a nice shot to the body.
Archangel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Archangel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Archangel looks winded!
Archangel needs to keep his hands up - Climber had a free shot at his head there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Climber cracks Archangel with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Archangel tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Climber pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Archangel is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
