PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zander Ford (ranked 4285 p4p, 4305 weight class) and Ferman Battah (ranked 500 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford comes to the cage accompanied by THE KING IS HERE. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford misses with a looping left.
Battah looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ford could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Battah counters with a stiff right hand.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ford. Battah does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Battah now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Ford lands with an uppercut that bounces Battah off the cage and back into range.
Ford moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Battah swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Ford slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Battah closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Battah drops Ford onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Ford is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Battah mutters something to Ford before pushing him back against the cage. As Ford comes back towards him, Battah unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks Ford clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!
