Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Ball (ranked 2177 p4p, 2186 weight class) and Anabolic Asteroid (ranked 277 p4p, 279 weight class). Asteroid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Anabolic Asteroid has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tobias Ball's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anabolic Asteroid!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asteroid checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ball walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Asteroid checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ball lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ball ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Asteroid felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Asteroid manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ball moves out of range as Asteroid strikes.
Ball appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Ball shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Asteroid manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Asteroid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ball.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Tobias Ball will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ball shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Asteroid pinned against the cage. Asteroid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ball closes the distance and clinches up with Asteroid, looking for a takedown. Ball pushes Asteroid against the cage but Asteroid circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Asteroid unleashes a big counter combination but Ball bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ball goes for a double leg but Asteroid avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Asteroid continues to drive forward.

A close second round but Anabolic Asteroid will probably get the nod - 10:9.
