Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Royal Savage!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sorry Eh!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Eh takes one to the chin there.
Savage lands with a shot to the body.
The Royal Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage throws a right hand that Eh ducks under and follows up with a left that Eh also avoids with ease.
Savage throws a lazy uppercut

and Eh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Savage's guard.
Eh stays in close to Savage's body and controls the position.
Savage avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Eh trying to control but Savage is working from the bottom.
Savage wants to stand but Eh is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Eh is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Eh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Eh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Savage throws a series of punches but Eh avoids them all with ease.
Savage throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Savage has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blood and Iron Training in the buildup to the fight.
Eh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Savage connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Eh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Savage tries to avoid it but Eh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Savage to the ground. Savage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Savage misses with a wild body shot.
Eh tries to clinch up.
Savage throws a big shot that misses.
Eh drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Savage defends it well.
Savage lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Eh is rocked!
Savage throws an uppercut from hell that sends Eh clean off his feet! He's out cold! Savage stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Royal Savage!
The Royal Savage retains his lightweight title!
