Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duck Dodgers (ranked 2849 p4p, 2626 weight class) and D.D Panda (ranked 367 p4p, 340 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda throws out a loose jab but Dodgers uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dodgers just misses with a punch to the body.

Panda shoots in looking for a takedown. Dodgers tries to sprawl out of it but Panda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dodgers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Panda looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dodgers has picked Panda up and slammed him! Panda can't keep hold of the triangle and Dodgers manages to pass to side control!

Dodgers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dodgers has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dodgers there as he acknowledges the shot.
Panda circles away from the clinch attempt.

Panda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dodgers wants to sweep here but Panda controlling him for the moment.
Panda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

D.D Panda's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
