Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Markkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klark Tsemppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Markkanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Klark Tsemppu!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsemppu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Markkanen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Markkanen closes the distance and clinches up with Tsemppu, looking for a takedown. Markkanen pushes Tsemppu against the cage but Tsemppu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Markkanen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tsemppu as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikko Markkanen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Markkanen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Markkanen lands in his opponent's guard.

Tsemppu looking for a guillotine here but Markkanen defends easily.
Tsemppu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Tsemppu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Markkanen controls the pace.

Markkanen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tsemppu to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Markkanen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tsemppu pulls down on the head and he's put Markkanen to sleep! This one is all over!
