The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paine throws a sloppy head kick and Jenkins moves out of range easily.
Paine tries to clinch there but Jenkins circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jenkins.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paine wants to get back to his feet but Jenkins drags him back down.
Jenkins wants to control but Paine is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Paine is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jenkins connects with a decent elbow.

Paine wants to get back to his feet but Jenkins drags him back down.

Jenkins decides to stand back up.
Macon Paine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jenkins.
Paine looks gassed!
Jenkins drops Paine with a left right combo! Jenkins follows him down to the ground into side control.

Paine is rocked!

It looks like Macon Paine has been cut.
