Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kangaroo Jack (ranked 5722 p4p, 1509 weight class) and Hoosein Abdul (ranked 412 p4p, 167 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kangaroo Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hoosein Abdul!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Abdul misses.
Abdul wants to clinch.
Jack throws a right and a left that both miss.
Abdul looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Abdul is just out of range.
Jack walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jack showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Abdul.

Abdul misses with an uppercut
and Jack counters with a two punch combo.
Hoosein Abdul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abdul throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jack makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jack definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jack stuns Abdul with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Abdul takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Abdul closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Abdul lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jack wants to get back to his feet but Abdul is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jack is wriggling around but Abdul manages to pass to half guard.
Jack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Abdul on the ground.
Abdul works his foot free and advances to mount.
Abdul controlling his opponent.

Jack is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Abdul has control of Jack's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jack regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jack trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Abdul connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Abdul lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Abdul trying to control but Jack is having none of it.

Abdul is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jack has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Abdul connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Abdul takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abdul lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Oh Jack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Abdul postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Jack badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Abdul around the waist but Abdul pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Abdul is the winner by TKO! Abdul jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hoosein Abdul!
Hoosein Abdul decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
