Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Frankie Griggs (ranked 2718 p4p, 3991 weight class) and Dave Wearmouth (ranked 334 p4p, 454 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Griggs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tank!- Seatbelts (Cowboy Bebop Opening). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wearmouth clobbers Griggs with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wearmouth scores with a nice right hand.

Wearmouth closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Griggs crashing to the mat! Griggs uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Griggs is rocked!
Wearmouth lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Griggs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wearmouth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Griggs seems to have got his legs back now.
Griggs throws a shot from downtown. Wearmouth moves away and avoids it.
Wearmouth dips to his left and cracks Griggs with an uppercut!

Wearmouth connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Griggs onto his butt! Griggs bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Griggs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Dave Wearmouth has been cut.

Griggs is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Griggs is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Griggs is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Wearmouth takes it!

Dave Wearmouth tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
