Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muhamad Uni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, OH KO!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
OH KO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
KO stuffs the takedown attempt from Uni. Uni gets slowly back to his feet.
KO lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uni circles away quickly and effectively.
Uni throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Uni darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Uni lands with a cross.
KO throws a right and a left that Uni avoids nicely.
Uni rushes KO and presses him up against the cage.
Uni manages to break the clinch.
KO throws a series of punches but Uni moves out of range.
KO tries to bum rush Uni with a series of wild strikes but Uni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Uni could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Uni looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
KO keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhamad Uni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Uni throws a combination but it was largely blocked by KO.
Uni doesn't manage to clinch there - KO circles away.
KO drops Uni with a left and a right! Oh, Uni is hurt - KO dives into side control looking to finish!
Uni is rocked!
It looks like Muhamad Uni has been cut.
Uni is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
KO tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
KO stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
KO connects with a stiff jab that staggers Uni - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
