Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between danny Raptor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomi Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raptor misses with a wild combination.
Takahashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takahashi misses with a body shot.
Takahashi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raptor as he jumps to the side.
Raptor tries to clinch there but Takahashi circles away.
Takahashi misses with a series of wild punches.
Raptor lands a slapping body shot.
Raptor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Takahashi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Raptor to score with a decent uppercut.

danny Raptor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raptor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Takahashi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Takahashi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raptor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raptor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that danny Raptor will probably get the nod.

Raptor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takahashi tries to avoid it but Raptor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takahashi to the ground. Takahashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Raptor is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Raptor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Takahashi is looking to sinch up a triangle. Raptor throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Takahashi's body to avoid the submission. Takahashi has instead reached around Raptor's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Takahashi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
