The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirac pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Abbott connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Paul Dirac has been cut.
Abbott connects with a jab.
Abbott takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dirac moves in looking to clinch but Abbott pushes him off.
Abbott is looking for the big counter here.
Dirac misses with a series of wild punches.
We've been told by Dirac's head coaches at The Jungle Room that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dirac takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dirac fails in his attempt to clinch.

Abbott looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Abbott lands a big uppercut and Dirac crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dirac looks OK. Abbott waves Dirac back to his feet!
