Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keith Kenneth Ferkingstad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Norris Chow!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chow tries a head kick but it misses.
Ferkingstad throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chow stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ferkingstad lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Chow scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Keith Kenneth Ferkingstad has been cut.
A head kick from Chow lands but Ferkingstad takes it in his stride.

A head kick lands from Chow that sends Ferkingstad to the canvas. Ferkingstad tries to scramble back to his feet but Chow brings him back down into side control.

Ferkingstad is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Ferkingstad is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sloppy strikes there by Chow.
Ferkingstad tries to buck Chow off but Chow is having none of it.
Chow is working Ferkingstad over with some ground and pound from side control.

Chow goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ferkingstad has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chow but great work by Ferkingstad.
Chow told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Chow manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ferkingstad seems to have got his legs back now.

Ferkingstad has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Chow doesn't defend quickly enough and Ferkingstad has managed to lock this one up! Can Chow escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ferkingstad on a fantastic submission victory.
