Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Heinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg House!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heinski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for House!
Heinski prevents House from getting the reversal.
Heinski controlling the position easily from mount.
House is wriggling around trying to escape.
House is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Heinski controlling his opponent.
House is looking to improve his position but Heinski isn't that keen on the idea.
House gets back to half guard.
House looks gassed!
Heinski wants to stand but House has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Heinski wants to take a breather but House is having none of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if House can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like Heinski is going to stand back up.
Heinski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

House uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Heinski and House goes tumbling to the canvas! Heinski follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Greg House has been cut.

Heinski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down House for as long as he can get away with.

House seems to have recovered his senses.

Heinski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has House pinned against the cage. House gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Heinski throws a lazy uppercut

and House counters with a nice double leg into side control. Heinski won't be happy with that.

House tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Heinski missing with a left hand there. House was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

House forces Heinski back against the cage and clinches.
Heinski tries to break the clinch but House is controlling the position.

House breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
House shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Heinski but Heinski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

House shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than House was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Heinski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Heinski is trying to escape the mount but House keeps good control and instead manages to take Heinski's back.
House controlling well, preventing Heinski from escaping the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

House sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Heinski taps out!
